In 3 days I’ll be on my way to FitBloggin to network, learn and hang with healthy lifestyle bloggers and brands, including my awesome sponsor Applegate. They made this conference possible for me and I’m so grateful.
When we were trying to decide what role meat should play in our healthy diet, we landed on the side of eat less meat, higher quality. That’s worked for us and that’s the same philosophy that Applegate seems to subscribe to. When I saw a post on their Facebook page supporting Meatless Monday I knew this was a brand I could trust. They’re a meat company, supporting a meat free day of the week because of the health benefits to us and the environment. In my opinion, that’s integrity and that’s exactly what I look for in a brand.
If you aren’t familiar with Applegate I invite you to check out their website and learn a little more. You’ll find information on their products and full disclosure of their ingredient lists and animal raising standards. On their new community page, you can find helpful articles on a variety of wellness topics from organic lifestyle choices and recipes to allergy and gluten-free living, including a few from me. If you need recipe ideas, they’ve got that to.
If you’r heading to FitBloggin, keep an eye out for me. I’ll be running the Sunday 5K in my Applegate gear and handing out coupons for FREE product. If you’re like me and you’re working to stock your fridge and freezer with healthy, easy to prepare food for your family while you’re away I encourage to give a few of our favorite Applegate products a try.
I just stocked up on Applegate chicken nuggets. My husband likes to make a huge bowl of salad loaded with bell peppers and cucumbers and top it with Applegate chicken nuggets. It’s quick, easy, healthy and he knows he can get our boys to eat it. I’m also leaving him with Applegate chicken/turkey sausage. We cook it with bell peppers and onions and put it on top of quinoa. Another healthy, easy option. For lunches, I bought Applegate deli turkey meat and yogurt cheese. It’s delicious rolled in a piece of romaine lettuce and easy for the kids or my husband to prepare on their own.
Do you have a favorite Applegate product? Are you doing any prep work to make sure your family eats healthy while you’re away?
