I was gonna wait until January for this, and then I thought, why wait for the New Year to start feeling better? Let’s start now! Getting healthy doesn’t have to be hard. It doesn’t have to be about deprivation – in fact – it shouldn’t be about deprivation. Getting healthy is really about finding the foods, activities, people and relationships that help us function at our highest, happiest level.
With that in mind, I’m starting the 12 Months to a Healthier You Challenge. It’s really simple. Each month, I’ll write a post introducing ONE thing we can all do that month to improve our health. It won’t be overly complicated and we will all have the opportunity to interact and share via the comments section and my Facebook page.
To give you an idea of what this will look like – the first month’s challenge will be to add more leafy greens into our diets.
On Monday, I will publish a post with some simple ideas on how and why to do just that. You will then have the opportunity to comment on how it’s working for you, ask questions, share recipes, etc via the comments and Facebook. At the end of the month, I will enter everyone who participated AND commented/shared into a drawing for a $25 gift card to Vitacost – a great website where you can purchase healthy food and products at 40-70% off.
