Complete Protein Snack

This has been one of my favorite snacks for years and it only takes 3 minutes. I make a big pot of brown rice, quinoa or another grain every week and keep it in the fridge for quick snacks and meals.  You can also heat up a bag of steam-it brown rice if that’s what you have on hand.  Sprinkle in some organic edamame beans, and toss in a few tablespoons of Tamari wheat-free organic soy sauce.  You have a complete protein, fiber filled, very tasty snack.  Give your kids some chopsticks and challenge them to an edamame eating contest :)
